JOB REQUIREMENTS: Shipping and Receiving Roles and Responsibilities The role of our shipping and receiving personnel is to receive inventory accurately and efficiently into Procede and place part into the correct stocking location or allocate to the appropriate order. Responsibilities (not in order of importance): Check in and receipt Freightliner stock and or customer orders Locate customer orders and put on appropriate delivery or will call shelves Put stock away in pre-determined bin locations When stocking parts, part numbers must be facing out for easy visibility. Parts in the warehouse on higher shelves must have part number written on or be visible from ground level to ease in the picking of orders later. All parts stocked on wire racking in the warehouse and upstairs should have magnetic tags with the part numbers on them. All parts stocked on the bin shelves downstairs should have part numbers on the shelf or bin box. Bin box preferred to make it easier when re locating or shifting sections of parts to make room for new parts. All package qty parts should be removed from their bags or boxes except for filters. Always note any damage and or missing items on BOL and follow up by no filling out a PAR form and turning in to Parts Admin Organize and file morning packing slips by delivery method and PO source (P2 for customer and PA for stock) Check in and receipt UPS/FedEx and other LTL orders as they arrive Locate customer orders from above and put on appropriate delivery or will call shelves Put stock away in pre-determined bin locations Check in and receipt CPW stock order and put away in pre-determined bin locations Check in and receipt CPW customer order and put on appropriate delivery or will call shelves Check in and receipt Transfers from other stores when the CPW shuttle returns from daily run Find new stocked parts (NOBIN\'s) bin locations in the appropriate aisles or areas and change the location of those parts in Procede to the new location Help with bin verifications and cycle counts to maintain appropriate stocking levels and stocking locations. This is done for items that are over-stocked in small locations or understocked in large locations taking up warehouse space.
