Aerotek CNC Operator in Dekalb, Illinois

Description:

The Mazak Operator programs, processes and repairs material through machining operations to produce a variety of completed parts at the highest level of utilization and productivity attainable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set-up operate and maintain machines.

Perform preventative maintenance as required.

Machine parts to specifications, create/alter CNC programs.

Locate and identify proper material, stage material and tooling for jobs.

Design, blueprint jogs, fixtures, templates

Keep adequate tooling inventory, inspect parts.

Job Requirements

3 or more years of experience working with CNC Mazak Machines

Ability to work from manuals, blueprints or other specifications; locating, diagnosing and repairing problems.
