Position Summary The essence of this role is to produce components for weldments by following standard work instructions and utilizing the aid of drawings, jigs, and/or checking fixtures for the PVC weld cell. Duties and Responsibilities Full understanding of jigs/fixtures and their purpose. Expected to be wearing proper PPE throughout the day (Bump caps, steel toe shoes, safety glasses etc.). Ability to achieve and maintain productivity levels as specified by position, while producing a product of the highest quality. Possesses advanced knowledge and skills to operate every piece of equipment in the PVC weld cell fabrication process. General cleaning of work area, including work surfaces, equipment, and floors. Understands QCDSM boards and contributes to continuous improvement. Comply with environmental and safety regulations Follow job-specific instructions related to environmental aspect Attributes Able to work in team environment. Able to multi-task. Have general computer knowledge. Able to lift 50 pounds. Have a basic understanding of blueprints. Able to take direction from multiple sources.
