Position Summary The essence of the role is to ensure that molds in the department are maintained by welding, grinding, and machining. They also must drive Continuous Improvement activities to provide quality rotationally molded product. Duties and Responsibilities Make minor tool repairs and modifications Assist in process improvement projects Maintain tool maintenance supplies Assist with production through the company when needed Safely use all equipment and act in a safe manner Proactively make improvements to molds to prevent quality and productivity issues Proactively make improvements to molds to prevent future mold maintenance needs Environmental and hazardous chemical response/exposure Awareness level: Use and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Knowledge of aspects and impacts for work area Identify and report environmental incidents Comply with environmental and safety regulations Follow job-specific instructions related to environmental aspects
