JOB REQUIREMENTS: Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with menus and daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Enter orders into the POS (point of sale) system for kitchen staff to prepare. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner. Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages. Clear tables as guests complete each course or at the end of their meal. Process payments from guests and return change or process credit card transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including table settings and condiment stations. Assist with setting up the dining area before service and cleaning up after service. Restock service areas with supplies such as linens, silverware, and glassware. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests. Upsell additional products when appropriate by informing guests about daily specials or recommended menu items. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety procedures. Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
