POSITION: Fairgrounds Maintenance Worker

Position performs routine maintenance and custodial duties at the Delta County Fairgrounds and other County facilities as required. Position requires evening and weekend work to accommodate events scheduled at the Fairgrounds.

DUTIES: * Perform maintenance, repairs and custodial duties at the Delta County Fairgrounds and other County facilities as required. * Prepare, set-up, and tear down events scheduled at the Fairgrounds. * Support other maintenance, custodial duties and projects as requested. * Plow/shovel snow at the North Fork Annex and other County facilities when required. * Maintain, repair, and operate sprinkler systems.

REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or equivalent * At least four (4) years of related buildings and grounds maintenance and custodial experience is required. * Candidate must pass a background investigation. * Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record. * Must be available to work two weeks prior to, the weeks of, and the week after Delta County Fair.

WAGE: $22.20 to $24.42 hourly depending on qualifications and experience

SHIFTS: Full-time - 40 hours per week
