The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or who have behavioral problems. The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. Responsibilities related to Incident Management include coordination of investigations, trends analysis related to incidents, injuries, deaths and restraints and taking action to reduce the rates of these events at the facility. Responsibilities related to Risk Management include coordination and adherence to Life Safety Code, Employee Injuries, emergency planning and safety issues. The Director supervises staff from both departments, chairs several facility-wide committees and works with other local organizations related to disaster planning and as a liaison along with Incident Management Coordinator with Provider Investigations, Office of Inspector General and local law enforcement entities. Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
