Boise Cascade Company Administrative Technician - ADMIN004136 in Denver, Colorado

Boise Cascade is looking for a entry to mid level Accounting Technician to join our team. This position is Fulltime, Exempt Overtime Eligible. Pay is DOE. Full benefits start immediately. This position will work in our Denver office. The position performs a variety of accounting support responsibilities including, but not limited to: processing payables, including freight payables admin staff backup managing vendor marketing funds scanning records retention reconciling general ledger accounts work on special projects receptionist backup Our ideal candidate will be organized, self-starter, driven, flexible, have strong communication skills, and ability to build interdepartmental relationships. Intermediate or higher MS Excel, Outlook and Word skills are preferred. Proficient computer skills required. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test. Basic Qualifications: Requires high school education or equivalent plus a minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in an accounting function. Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills. Ability to understand and apply addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Normal office environment with minimal physical exertion. Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function. Role may require technical certification or associates degree. Requires effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills and proficient computer skills.
