DoorDash Associate, DashMart - Vendor Strategy & Operations in Denver, Colorado
About the Team
We're looking for someone to help scale DoorDash's next billion dollar business, DashMart. The DashMart team is focused on building a new type of grocery store, offering household essentials, groceries and local restaurant favorites to our customers' doorsteps.
About the Role
We are hiring 2 Associates across our DashMart Strategy & Operations organization focused on vendor management. Some of the projects you will tackle in these roles will include but are not limited to strategic vendor management, creative solutions and program management to drive profitability metrics, supply chain analytics and so much more! You will play a critical role in helping us achieve high levels of efficiency, improve quality and reduce costs. By achieving all of these things, we will be able to re-invest into growth initiatives. You will dive into analyzing data around unit economics, supply chain, site performance, workflow design, and so much more! You will work cross-functionally across other folks with Strategy & Operations, our Local Operations teams, finance, people and more. We are in a hybrid model, so we do get our teams together a few times a year for in-person collaboration. All our offices are open should you choose to go in on a more regular basis!
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Build. You'll have your fingerprints all over DoorDash's next big business. You'll launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to minute operational details.
Strategize. From fundamentals, you'll develop the strategy for best serving our customers.
Analyze. You'll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data.
Lead. You'll work with multiple teams, including engineering, product, design, operations, finance, and marketing to build this new line of business for DoorDash.
Collaborate. You’ll work directly with external partners like CPG brands and wholesale vendors. You will negotiate mutually beneficial contracts, launch new business partnerships and grow existing partnerships.
We’re excited about you because…
You're excited to be creative on how you work through problems.
You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're as comfortable thinking long-term.
You're unafraid of undefined processes. You are passionate about defining and carving out scope and processes. You excel at working with a diverse group of people.
You love data. You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable modeling in Excel and SQL (can perform complex functions), and have experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, etc.).
You have 1-3+ years of experience. You've succeeded at expanding businesses (whether in tech, retail, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).
You have completed your BS/BA Degree.
