Robert Half AVP of Operations in Denver, Colorado

Description We are on the lookout for a seasoned AVP of Operations to join our team in the oil/gas industry, located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves overseeing the operations in our company, optimizing processes, and managing the operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the oil/gas/fuel/construction industry and a strong background in managing business operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily operations and making adjustments as necessary

• Implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and meet organizational goals

• Utilizing knowledge of the oil/gas/fuel/construction industry to guide operations

• Managing, leading, and motivating the operations team to achieve high performance

• Using networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key industry players

• Applying knowledge of accounting functions and banking operations to manage budgets and financial processes

• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies

• Leveraging experience with database and EO/IR systems to manage and analyze operational data

• Using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Delivering excellent customer service to maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Operations role, preferably as an AVP or similar level

• Proficiency in using Database systems and Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and Networking principles

• Strong knowledge of Optimization strategies and techniques

• Experience with Accounting Functions and Banking Operations

• Understanding of Compliance protocols and Credit management

• Previous experience in Customer Service roles

• Knowledge of Business operations and their optimization

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team

• Proven ability to manage and lead a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
