Summary

It is the responsibility of the Branch Payroll Clerk to compile timekeeping data (via manual timesheet or through timekeeping system) and submit data to corporate payroll department for processing. Professionally interacts with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner representatives to provide the highest level of service excellence.

This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of Denver, CO.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sign in desk, badges, and timesheets for union labor call.

  • Ensure manual or systematic timekeeping systems are accurate.

  • Track punches daily to ensure all swipes were completed throughout the workday.

  • Audit punches to be sure everything was entered correctly. Work with management staff to correct missing or invalid punches.

  • Prepare time for weekly payroll processing at the corporate office.

  • Track holidays, vacation, sick, PTO, etc. and ensure this time is recorded in the timekeeping system.

  • Transmit data to appropriate auxiliary systems (SAP payroll, finance, and sales).

  • Maintain data in timekeeping system related to transfer of team members between departments, pay raises, new hires, loa’s and terms.

  • Always maintain confidentiality.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Knowledge of Kronos preferred. Knowledge of timekeeping system required.

  • Two years related experience in a computerized accounting environment preferably within a payroll function.

  • Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets.

  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
