DaVita's Compliance team, "Team Quest" identifies, develops, and implements strategies to mitigate risk in a developing healthcare regulatory landscape. As a Business Analyst supporting the Compliance Data & Analytics Team, you will join a team of highly motivated individuals and will be a key player in how we use data to enhance our compliance program.

Duties include leading team ceremonies, facilitating communication, resolving blockers, analyzing team metrics, supporting Product Owner in project coordination. The individual will also develop relationships with key stakeholders, engage in user experience, and help manage the pipeline of data-related requests from the Compliance team.

Please note, this position will be based in Denver, CO on a hybrid work schedule. We are looking for candidates who are either based in the Denver area or looking to relocate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead team ceremonies including stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives. Support improvement of team processes. Obtain feedback from developers, create processes or support education, implement support. Drive accountability and action items with end users, communicate expectations, reminders for UAT, create UAT test scenarios and sheets, remove blockers, escalate issues or delays to PO. Support documentation of business logic, team meetings, stakeholder feedback, QA and UAT processes. Organize business-facing documentation. Support deployment process. Create standard release notes format, encourage end users to utilize documentation. Use data from Jira to analyze team performance with the goal of communicating team performance to leadership and stakeholders. Project coordination. Support project managers in reviewing milestones against JIRA - prompting ticket creation, check-ins with SMEs, reminders or escalation as needed. Support initial research and project discovery. Support PO and technical lead in identifying potential downstream dependencies. Work with PO to ensure project plan has appropriate timeline for dependencies and documented contingency plans. Provide final review of project documentation to ensure an approved project plan (or similar document) is approved by project owner, project sponsor, PO, technical lead, and team manager. Update project plans, statuses, and next steps. Support PO in sending project status updates to key stakeholders. Assist with keeping a refined backlog of requests for the team to work from. Help formulate asks of stakeholders, better refinement, more data points (request type, pillar, lane), good acceptance criteria. Gather and document technical requirements, drive documentation development (check documentation, remind developers). Audit team QA and UAT processes. Audit team's documentation standards (Bitbucket and Confluence). Ensure documentation provided aligns with team's documented practices. Engage with stakeholders to understand and support user experience. Intervene where needed to. Alert team manager or PO of relationships that require attention

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Strong computer skills in Excel and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal. Strong organizational and self-management capabilities. Ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment. Active facilitator of communication.

Preferred Qualifications: Project coordination or project management experience. Ability to learn new systems and reporting tools quickly. Ability to interact with all levels of teammates. Experience with SQL, JSON, Python, or other coding languages. Compliance and/or Healthcare industry experience. Travel required: less than 5%.

Salary/ Wage Range$55,000.00-$75,500.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
