About the role:

We currently require an experienced Analyst to provide custom analytics for our top global customers, utilizing data extracted from various Worldpay platforms. The primary purpose of the role is to analyze, interpret and explain payment and revenue related data trends to Worldpay customers and commercial stakeholders.

What you'll own:

You will provide insight into customer, transactional and financial behavior as well as drive initiatives that increase business performance for internal stakeholders and our customers. This is a crucial role in the business as you will derive reporting best practice from accumulated data and analysis to help guide management and operational decision-making and problem solving. As an experienced analyst you will work with external customers on a case-by-case basis.

You will have the experience to use a wide range of data discovery and analysis techniques to identify opportunities, developing strategies and techniques to improve results for Worldpay and our customers. You'll champion the value of analysis and educate members of the wider technology division and be an advocate of data and analytics promoting analysis and data driven decisions.

What you bring

• Significant track record of using advanced SQL techniques for analysis of complex business problems. Knowledge and experience in data manipulation using SQL querying tools in large relational databases is essential.
• Knowledge of one or more visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Shiny, QlikView or similar
• Experience with Splunk
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Exposure in Payments Processing Industry is a plus (not required)
• Experience with Cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Snowflake, Python, R or MATLAB is a plus (not required)
• Must be based in the Denver or San Francisco area (hybrid schedule)
