Position Summary: The Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a remote role that will be responsible for leading, building and nurturing successful strategic partnerships on behalf of Travere with national and regional US key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the rare nephrology space. This position will report to the Senior Director, Thought Leader Engagement Strategy and Marketing Operations and will help support the successful post-full approval growth of FILSPARI (sparsentan) for IgAN and the potential approval for FSGS as a second indication. The TLL role will collaborate cross-functionally on field activities as a strategic business partner with Marketing, Insights and Analytics, Sales management, Patient Advocacy, Compliance, Sales Training, Market Access, and Medical Affairs.

The preferred candidate will bring a deep understanding of nephrology, ideally with a focus on rare kidney diseases. They will have a demonstrated ability to engage with academic thought leaders and cultivate a community of brand advocates, driving impact through personalized interactions, focused small group meetings, and influential advisory boards.

Responsibilities: Leverage insights to implement regional cross-functional account strategy and KOL engagement plan in partnership with the brand team and field partners (MSLs and sales representatives). Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the regional healthcare landscape, including key accounts, stakeholders, and influencers to inform targeted strategies. Collaborate and coordinate closely with marketing to identify partnering opportunities with KOLs and assist with KOL recruitment for specific marketing initiatives. Proactively seek out and cultivate relationships with new KOLs who can help to expand the reach and influence of the brand. Actively collect, analyze, and synthesize information on KOL sentiments, competitor activities, and broader market trends from diverse sources (1:1 meetings, advisory boards, congresses). Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making. Ensure compliant, fair-balanced, and effective message delivery within all promotional educationalchannels (i.e., speaker programs, product theaters, exhibitor spotlights, etc...) Enlist appropriate KOLs to successfully support commercial activities, in partnership with the FILSPARI brandteam Work with field partners to identify and vet qualified promotional speakers that align with overall needs of the brand. Develop and refine criteria for selecting promotional speakers to ensure they are effective brand advocates. Assist with the contracting, training, and on-going educational ef orts with contracted promotional speakers

Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Life Sciences discipline. Advanced degree, MBA, MA preferred but not required. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered Minimum of 10 years of related Marketing experience in specialty or rare disease marketing. Demonstrated track record of taking on roles with increasing scope of responsibilities.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Successful record of creating and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths. Ability to adapt to modification and changes to project plans, demonstrating flexibility to implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes. The position is field-based and the candidate must live in their region.
