Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities and efficiencies of employees in a manufacturing and distribution work environment for the assembly and distribution of set top boxes

  • Review productivity of employees daily for accuracy and compliance with established procedures, and determine workload for team members

  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow

  • Study and standardize procedures to improve the efficiency of our operators

  • Trace the history of unresolved issues to determine reasons for errors or needed corrections and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies

  • Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

  • Conduct daily and weekly meetings with team members

  • Capable of performing all job duties of direct reports at a high level of proficiency

  • Directly responsible for exempt/non-exempt staff, and responsible for the performance of subordinates

  • Provide leadership to a manufacturing team and promote employee engagement

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience preferred in a manufacturing/warehouse, retail, and/or food service environment; and/or leadership experience in a volunteer/nonprofit environment

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5-S, and KanBan is preferred but not required

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is preferred but not required

Individuals must have the ability to lift 45 lbs. and stand for long periods of time and the ability to operate a pallet jack.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $71,000.00/Year - $78,100.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
