Blue Origin, LLC Electrical Engineer II - Avionics Hardware in Denver, Colorado

This role is part of Enterprise Program Management (EPM), where we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training, and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EPM allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization

As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers , you will study, develop, and execute validation and verification strategies for avionics hardware used to successfully launch Blue Origin missions.You will work directly with the team responsible for hardening avionics hardware to the harsh space radiation environment and ensure success of our missions. Passion for the mission is a necessity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Basic circuit design and analysis PCB layout and assembly Electronics lab prototyping Cross-discipline interface to ensure space-ready avionics designs Participation in development of electronics test plans and reports as needed Travel (10-20%) to assist with external testing of simple circuits

Minimum Qualifications B.S. (or advanced degree) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Nuclear Science, or related field with 2+ years of in electronics design, analysis, and/or testing Experience with the following: benchtop testing / debugging circuit boards simple PCB layout (Altium PCB design tools or similar) basic circuit analysis Electrical engineering fundamentals, basic digital and analog circuit fundamentals, and familiarity with associated laboratory equipment Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent...
