JOB SUMMARY The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and IR (Investor Relations) Analyst is responsible for providing financial insights and analysis. This role requires deep involvement in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, investor relations and performance analysis to support key business decisions. This role works to achieve operational targets under general supervision. Requires the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies and practices. Problems faced may be difficult but generally not complex. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture. RESPONSIBILITIES Typical job responsibilities of the FP&A AND IR ANALYST II include: • Develop and maintain complex financial models, incorporating assumptions for natural gas prices, production volumes, transportation costs, and regulatory impacts. • Prepare regular forecasts, identifying variances between actual and budgeted performance. • Collaborate with different departments to develop annual budgets that reflect the company's strategic objectives. • Assist in the preparation of multi-year forecasts and long-term financial plans. • Conduct margin analysis for various natural gas projects and business segments. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior leadership. • Present key findings, financial trends, and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders. • Track and analyze natural gas price trends, geopolitical impacts, and regulatory changes that could affect the business’s financial performance. • Assist in developing strategies to hedge against price volatility or take advantage of favorable market conditions. • Identify areas for improvement and recommend actions based on financial insights. • Support strategic initiatives, investment analysis, and business development activities. • Provide input into the company’s investor relations strategy. • Analyze financial and operational data to assess the company’s performance and prepare relevant reports for investors and analysts. • Respond to analyst and investor questions and data requests. • Coordinate and support with investors calls, meetings, analyst days, and non-deal roadshows. • Assist in preparing earnings reports, press releases, and financial communications. • Perform other duties as requested. REQUIRED SKILLS • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting in an energy or commodities context. • Knowledge of financial software and reporting tools. Oracle experience preferred. • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to investor relations. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles, ideally within the natural gas or energy industry. Knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS • CPA license preferred but not necessary. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS • This position is located in Denver, CO at BKV Headquarters. Remote work will be considered. • Indoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate standard office equipment. • May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others. • Limited travel may be required. SALARY RANGE​​​​​​ • $74,000 to $122,000
