What You Will Do: Review and analyze new investment opportunities for potential inclusion on First Western investment platform. Conduct regular due diligence of existing outside investment managers. Analyze prospective client investment portfolios. Prepare quarterly review of economics and financial markets for portfolio managers to present at client meetings. Broad understanding of all asset classes including equities, fixed income, private equity, absolute return, and real assets. Understand and succinctly explain potentially complicated investment strategies or products to internal and external clients. Assist with the oversight and trading of investment accounts. Exhibit natural curiosity and desire to expand knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and economic conditions, and proactively apply that knowledge in the context of the Investment Analyst II role. Think critically to accomplish tasks with limited oversight. Support PC business development activities. Maintain current knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, policies, and procedures. What You Bring: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. High initiative and follow-through. Ability to work independently and with a team. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to organize, prioritize and multi-task. Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct and Microsoft applications.
