Litigation Paralegal

Our client, a leading law firm in the downtown DTC area, seeks a 2 plus years experienced litigation paralegal to join our growing team. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification, and at least two years’ experience as a Litigation Paralegal. A successful candidate will be a team-player and feel comfortable taking the initiative and managing their cases. Paralegals are responsible for: conducting investigations; research; collecting records; preparing and filing pleadings; case management, including calendaring, assistance with expert witnesses, trial preparation and trial. The client offers a competitive salary depending on experience, 100% medical insurance premium paid by employer, 401k eligibility after 1 year with employer paid contribution regardless of employee contribution, 100% FAMLI premium payment by employer, annual wellness and technology stipends, and a congenial work environment. Requirements - Customer service oriented communication skills

• Confidence in taking ownership of projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• 3+ years of relevant experience

• Strong know-how of spreadsheets and word processing is desired

• Detailed, accurate, and an ability to handle confidential information

• Background working with civil litigation

• General familiarity with Defense Litigation

• Commercial Litigation experience preferred

• Earlier work involving defense litigation

• Prior experience with Litigation Experience

• Complex Business Litigation experience

• Hands-on experience with Litigation Documents

• Complex Commercial Litigation experience

• Litigation Practice experience desired

• Solid understanding of Civil Litigation

• Practical knowledge of Insurance Defense Litigation

• Litigation Matters experience preferred

• Good understanding of filing litigation

• Experience with litigation support software

• Litigation experience highly preferred

• Plaintiff litigation experience highly valued

• Comprehension of litigation support and document services

• Adeptness in Complex Litigation

• Demonstrated knowledge of Construction Litigation

• Expertise in Litigation ParaLegal

• Previous experience working with management litigation
