BACK 2 BASICS MAGAZINE Payroll Clerk in DENVER, Colorado

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for all employees, including calculating hours, wages, deductions, and taxes. Data Entry: Enter and update employee payroll information in the payroll system, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.

Timekeeping: Verify and reconcile employee timesheets and attendance records.

Compliance: Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.

Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize payroll records, including employee information, tax documents, and payroll reports. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.

Communication: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits in a professional and timely manner.

Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports as required by management or regulatory bodies.

Collaboration: Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.
