Job Description:

CDM Smith is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Federal Response and Recovery team as a Program Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development and project execution, combining your hazard mitigation technical expertise with strong client relationship skills to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business development efforts to identify and secure new clients, contracts, and projects within Federal and State agencies.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop contract and project proposals, budgets, and schedules.

• Support project execution, helping to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Provide technical and programmatic expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.

• Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

• 15 years of related experience.

• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong technical and programmatic background with experience in community resiliency, hazard mitigation, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Background Check and Drug Testing Information:

Pay Range Minimum:

$141,810

Pay Range Maximum:

$255,249

Additional Compensation:

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.

Work Location Options:

Fully Remote or Hybrid Work Options may be considered for successful candidate.
