About the role

As a Project Manager for Retail Refurbishments, you will be playing a critical role in leading highly visible retail and financial institution projects. The ideal candidate will have proven abilities in leading move management, furniture design, and selection of corporate office and financial institution structures.

What you’ll do

  • Leads all facets of project and program management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for office, retail, and financial institution projects.

  • Will lead the refurbishment of furniture, space design, carpet, lighting, corporate, office, and any additional client-designated space.

  • Conduct periodic site visits to lead all aspects of the progress of construction and monitor the status of work completed during the delivery schedule.

  • Harnessing CBRE standards to complex real estate documents related to agreements, contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.

  • Supports infrastructure construction and renovation projects and ensures detailed staff understands and implements safety requirements, operations, policies, and procedures.

  • Stewards account-specific Key Performance Indicators and promotes overall program improvements. Performs training and ongoing mentoring for junior-level staff.

  • Building strong relationships with clients to ensure projects are being delivered against established expectations and to explore opportunities for program improvements.

  • Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification processes; conducts standard requests for proposals; completes bid analysis; recommends resources to clients.

  • Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources briefed.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) or equivalent years of experience in construction project management in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing construction projects related to retail or financial institutions.

  • Prior experience with reading and understanding architectural and civil drawings

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Manager position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Project Manager is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
