Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Property Accountant in Denver, Colorado. The role involves full-cycle property accounting for a diverse portfolio of properties and managing all aspects of accounts payable and receivables. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with property managers to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle property accounting for a portfolio of industrial, retail, SFH, and land properties

• Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivables, including invoice processing, payment collections, and bank reconciliations

• Experience with CAM reconciliations is essential

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Record and prepare journal entries for revenue and expense accruals, depreciation and amortization entries, mortgage payments, management fees, insurance amortization, and others

• Coordinate with property managers for accurate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Conduct lease administration, including calculating CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charges, insurance, and property taxes

• Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulations

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and attention to detail is required

• Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions is a must

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial

• Understanding of Budget Processes is required

• Ability to manage Cash Activity is a must

• Experience with Cam Reconciliation is necessary
