CACI's SAFFIRE team is at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The SAFFIRE team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information. The team is deeply passionate about its mission and takes tremendous pride in our work. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.

As a Data Science and Software Development Scrum Master for one of the SAFFIRE Agile development teams, you will be working closely with developers, our business analyst, and our government product owners to build enterprise software that meets mission needs. You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing and SecDevOps. In-depth technical knowledge of Machine Learning/AI solutions is preferred to ensure we leverage the most advanced techniques in our projects.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives, and champion a culture of continuous improvement

  • Assist product owner and development team in meeting mission needs by helping prioritize work and removing impediments

  • Coach the team on Agile processes

  • Help resolve issues/conflict that arise during development

  • Work across Product Teams to ensure end-to-end solutions for the Agile Release Train

  • May contribute in various areas of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based upon specific technical expertise

Required:

  • Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance

  • Experience with Agile Software Development and Scrum

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills

  • Ability to work with and lead a team

  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment

  • Understanding of all stages of the SDLC

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies

  • Scrum Master or other Agile certification

  • Technical background in Software Development

  • In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning/AI solutions

  • Information Assurance certification (like Security+)

  • Experience delivering Enterprise Software

  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500 - 206,800 USD
