This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth's orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space.

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, this hands-on senior engineering position requires extensive, specific experience establishing requirements and implementing mission-critical, ground power & control systems for launch vehicles.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering
15+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Ground Up Design & Operations of Launch Vehicle Power & Control Systems
Launch Vehicle Electrical Umbilicals & Disconnect Systems
Data Recording Systems
Simulator Designs for Ground & Launch Vehicle Systems
Control Systems for "Launch Vehicle Ready" Commit Signals, Including Pyro Devices
Working Knowledge of AFSPCMAN-9710.
Familiarity with USAF certification processes for EGSE systems, as applied to launch vehicle power, umbilicals and control systems
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
