You will collaborate with a skilled professional services team to assist customers in migrating to and utilizing AWS throughout their entire cloud adoption journey. This includes assessments, design, proof-of-concepts, documentation, planning, execution, and optimization. In this role, you will primarily focus on project delivery with direct customer engagement.

You will work with an experienced professional services team to help customers migrate to and operate in AWS throughout customers' entire cloud adoption lifecycles; assessments, design, proof-of-concepts, documentation, planning, execution, and optimization. This is a primarily customer-facing project delivery role.

What You'll Do:

Migration Assessment and Planning:

Evaluate application portfolios and strategize migrations to AWS, delivering comprehensive written assessments that include:

Total Cost of Ownership models Application migration strategies (6 R's) High-level project plans and work breakdown structures High-level infrastructure designs and diagrams AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews Implementation:

Play a hands-on role in implementation teams:

Define and maintain the overall technical vision for projects, addressing both customer and internal team needs. Create and maintain detailed diagrams and configuration documentation. Educate customers on AWS services and cloud best practices. Collaboration and Improvement:

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the cloud Solutions Architecture practice:

Assist pre-sales teams with project scoping and estimations. Contribute to the development of processes, templates, and project resources.

Who You Are:

You're passionate about technology and the plethora of options the public cloud offers. You enjoy helping customers solve existing problems while identifying and remediating new problems. You also have the following:

Minimum experience:

A BA/BS Degree with 8 years of relevant overall experience, or a MS degree with 6 years of relevant overall experience, or a Ph.D and 3 years of experience, or 12 years of overall relevant experience without a college degree 8+ years of diverse solutions architecture experience, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant public cloud experience AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification Hands-on experience with both lift-and-shift and greenfield AWS migrations. Intermediate level experience with one or more Infrastructure-as-Code implementations (CloudFormation, Terraform) Familiarity with Identity and Access models in on-prem (Active Directory) and public cloud (AWS IAM Identity Center Entra ID, SAML SSO) Familiarity with basic containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, Fargate) Intermediate to Expert level experience with IP Networking, DirectConnect, Transit Gateway, VPN technologies, etc.

Preferred Experience:

AWS Certifications - DevOps Pro, Advanced Networking, ML, Security, Database Specialty PCI, HIPAA, and HITRUST compliance as related to Cloud Infrastructure Intermediate to Expert level familiarity with containerization technologies (EKS, AWS Bottlerocket) Common Infrastructure as Code and DevOps patterns such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Immutable deployments, and CI/CD Pipelines. Familiarity with Azure and/or GCP Industry knowledge in any of the following verticals is highly desired:

USD 142,100.00 - 236,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $142,100.00 - $236,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
