You will collaborate with a skilled professional services team to assist customers in migrating to and utilizing Google Cloud throughout their entire cloud adoption journey. This includes assessments, design, proof-of-concepts, documentation, planning, execution, and optimization. In this role, you will primarily focus on project delivery with direct customer engagement.

What You'll Do:

Evaluate application portfolios and plan migrations to Google Cloud, delivering written assessments (usually as part of an Infrastructure Assessment) that include: Total Cost of Ownership / Rightsizing models Resource mapping to target Google Cloud solutions Application migration strategies (6 R's) High-level project plans and work breakdown structures High-level infrastructure designs and diagrams Actively participate in implementation teams: Define and uphold the overarching technical vision for projects, addressing both customer and project team needs Create and maintain detailed diagrams and configuration documentation Educate customers about Google Cloud services and general cloud best practices and pitfalls Work with colleagues to refine and enhance the overall cloud Solutions Architecture practice: Assist pre-sales teams with project scoping and estimations Contribute to the development of processes, templates, and other project resources

Who You Are:

You have a passion for technology and the extensive possibilities offered by public cloud platforms. You enjoy helping customers resolve current challenges while identifying and addressing potential future issues. Additionally, you possess the following qualifications:

Minimum Experience:

A BA/BS degree with 8 years of relevant experience, an MS degree with 6 years, a Ph.D. with 3 years, or 12 years of relevant experience without a college degree 8+ years of diverse solutions architecture experience, including at least 3 years in public cloud Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification Hands-on experience with both lift-and-shift and greenfield migrations to Google Cloud Intermediate experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) Intermediate experience with containerization technologies (Docker, GKE) Familiarity with identity and access models in on-prem (Active Directory) and public cloud (SAML, OIDC, Workforce Identity Federation) Intermediate to expert knowledge of IP networking, routing, network security, and Cloud Interconnect

Preferred Experience:

Google Cloud Certifications in Machine Learning, DevOps, Security, or Networking Knowledge of PCI, HIPAA, and HITRUST compliance related to cloud infrastructure Familiarity with GitOps concepts Understanding of common Infrastructure as Code and DevOps patterns such as Terraform, immutable deployments, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with Azure and/or AWS Industry knowledge in sectors such as: Healthcare/HealthTech Financial Services/FinTech SaaS E-Commerce

USD 142,100.00 - 236,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $142,100.00 - $236,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
