The Role
As the Senior Lead Program Manager in Lumen’s Black Lotus Security Group, you drive pivotal programs, aligning with strategic priorities and fostering collaboration for measurable results. You’ll liaise with stakeholders across Lumen to ensure key initiatives succeed.
The Main Responsibilities
Execute plans with customers, partners, Sales, Product Management, Enterprise Operations, and Marketing
Align program execution with organizational strategy and priorities
Track performance against KPIs and OKRs
Lead cross-functional programs from planning to delivery
Oversee product delivery architecture and engineering
Identify process improvement opportunities
Facilitate reviews and provide executive updates
Build strong partnerships for seamless program execution and alignment with business goals
Capable of analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights and presenting findings in impactful ways
Comfortable managing ambiguity and providing clarity to teams working on complex initiatives
Effective communicator who can present information concisely to senior leadership and customers
Curious and proactive about industry trends and innovations to continuously enhance program strategies
What We Look For in a Candidate
You are a results-oriented program management professional with a track record of successfully delivering complex initiatives in dynamic environments. You excel at building cross-functional relationships, driving alignment, and simplifying processes to maximize efficiency.
Highly motivated, organized, and persistent in driving program goals to completion.
Adept at influencing stakeholders across all levels of an organization to achieve shared objectives
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable results
Qualifications
Effecitve communication skills for concise and professional interactions.
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Over 5 years of experience managing large and complex projects across teams or organizations. Highly organized with strong follow-through abilities
Ability to think strategically and operate tactically to provide business insights and achieve operational goals
An active TS/SCI clearance is highly desirable or eligibility to obtain
Proven experience in building relationships at various organizational levels, including VP/SVP
Required: BS/BA degree; Preferred: MBA
10 years of experience in management, leadership, and strategic planning.
Knowledgeable about Lumen’s products, services, strategy, and decision-making processes.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, KPI and OKR development, and Scaled Agile Framework.
Proficient in using Jira Align, Workboard, and business intelligence tools like PowerBI or Tableau
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
