Provide direction to project teams regarding public engagement strategies associated with the NEPA process. When needed, oversee the preparation of NEPA documents prepared by consultants and provide QA/QC for deliverables. In coordination with project teams, develop agency engagement strategies to advocate for the company's position on elements of the NEPA process (e.g., level of documentation, connected actions, alternatives, impacts, and mitigation). Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in NEPA law, regulation, policy, and guidance and provide training and education to internal teams. Participate in the review of emerging NEPA legislation, policy and guidance and assist with the development of industry and/or company comments when warranted.
