STV is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Transportation Engineer to successfully deliver transportation infrastructure projects. If you are seeking a challenging, rewarding, professional career, the time is right to join STV. This position would be based in our Colorado Springs, CO or Denver, CO office. Functions and responsibilities include: Serving as task lead to plan, direct, and supervise the work of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver transportation projects for local and regional transportation clients. Performing technical evaluations to determine the feasibility, cost, and impacts of infrastructure projects and preparing associated reports and documentation. Utilizing design, drafting, and other software to develop plans and other project documents. Leading quality control activities for plans and other documents developed by their discipline. Coordinating with project managers and other task leads in developing compatible solutions to achieve project objectives within established budgets and schedules. Participating in teams identifying, pursuing, and securing work with key clients. Mentoring supporting discipline staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer License in Colorado, or ability to obtain within 6 months, is required. 11 or more years of relevant design and project management experience on transportation infrastructure projects is preferred. Strong command of AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil3D, OpenRoads, and/or other design and office software. Familiarity with AASHTO, NACTO, MUTCD and other design resources. Client relationships and experience working with the Colorado DOT and/or other regional transit and transportation agencies is desired. Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.

Compensation Range:$122,808.00 - $163,744.00
