Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Construction/Contractor industry. Located in Denver, Colorado, you will be instrumental in leading the implementation of a Prequalification Program, enhancing processes, and conducting financial due diligence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the establishment of a Prequalification Program, aligning it with new prequalification software.

• Drive process improvements and standardization efforts across various operations.

• Revamp existing processes to bolster risk-based decision-making.

• Oversee financial reviews of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company prequalification standards.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to prequalification policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

• Support districts with claims, ensuring proper documentation and maximizing claim recovery.

• Assist districts in conducting financial due diligence assessments of owners and joint ventures.

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, highlighting status updates, compliance issues, and areas of improvement.

• Serve as the administrator for prequalification systems in the U.S.

• Develop and produce necessary reports from business programs to support business intelligence dashboards and risk management reporting needs.

• Undertake other special assignments as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the Construction/Contractor industry

• Proficient in Business Systems, Confluence, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing

• Experience with Budget Processes and Capital Management

• Knowledge of construction industry financial requirements

• Proficiency in JDE EnterpriseOne software for financial management purposes

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
