JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE) The first line Risk team within Commercial Bank is responsible for the governance and tactile execution of owning and managing risk, optimizing risk and return, and enabling sound growth with speed for the business. As part of this team, the Sr. Risk Manager has responsibility for creating the strategy for multiple risk programs to ensure cohesive, end-to-end management of risk for the business. Alignment to Key's risk appetite, regulatory guidance, and industry are necessary for safety and soundness along with applicability for growth. The role requires an individual who can manage a team of multiple skillsets and levels, take ownership and accountability for the output of the team, influence others through building relationships, and drive a proactive risk culture through action and behavior.

The Sr. Risk Manager: Client Risk will specifically be responsible for establishing an overall strategy to how risk is managed within the Commercial Bank client space. This includes identifying higher risk clients, developing support and education to client facing teams, and managing oversight and reporting to bring visibility to the business. Coordinating with other risk management partners and the line of business are required to support comprehensive risk management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Own and manage strategy to overall risk programs under purview Drive awareness and understanding of risk across the organization Provide an escalation channel to business partners Collaborate with Line of Business partners to identify opportunities or areas to drive deeper risk management and oversight Partner with 2nd line of defense risk management to ensure alignment across Key's bank policies, procedures and risk appetite Drive and utilize data collection and analysis to reinforce risk decisioning and management Partner with internal and external partners to incorporate learnings from across the bank and the industry to calibrate risk strategies and capabilities Develops and executes on continuous improvement programs designed to improve risk identification, mitigation, and process efficacy Present through multiple risk forums using high-quality materials to demonstrate risk expertise, process/procedure, and data driven insights to the program(s)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree and industry experience preferred Experience evaluating risk for financial institutions or regulatory bodies Demonstrate an understanding of risk management best practice related to compliance, AML, credit, and operational risk Knowledge of Commercial Bank business and practices Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Strong presentation skills and ability to produce high quality materials is required Embrace a client-focused, positive mind-set work ethic Have desire to work in a team environment and willingness to support deliverables regardless of role Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationship with internal partners throughout the organization including business development teams, operations, compliance, and all other areas of risk Be self-motivated and results-oriented Be able to function effectively under pressure Proficiency with PCs and standard Microsoft Office software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Any risk certifications such as CAMS a plus Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $150,000.00to $170,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
