DoorDash Strategy & Operations Associate Manager in Denver, Colorado
About the Team
DoorDash Drive is our hypergrowth fulfillment platform serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the United States and Internationally. As an Associate Manager on our Drive Restaurants team, you’ll be responsible for articulating and executing our go-to-market strategy for various growth initiatives as well as partnering with our largest and most strategic clients in order to understand needs and develop solutions to better serve them.
Drive is a white label order fulfillment service where our Merchants receive orders from their own customers. Using their native channels, the Merchant is responsible for ingesting the order, tendering customers’ payment, and requesting the dasher from DoorDash. About the Role
Drive is the fastest growing part of DoorDash, and the Drive Restaurants business still has a ton of room to grow. Clients with existing delivery fleets represent a significant strategic opportunity to the business. As an Associate Manager for DoorDash Drive's Strategy & Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving our growth and success. As a direct owner of this segment, you will be critical in helping us to build and execute on our growth strategy across some of the largest and most strategic clients to help us launch and scale our partnerships: understanding their needs, developing products, and partnering cross-functionally to bring solutions forward.
On a typical day, you may work with team members to design experiments that improve quality and delivery operations, address issues that enable our and our merchants’ processes run efficiently, or dive into data to explain performance at the lowest level of detail and make sure we never stop growing. The ideal candidate for this role should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to take ownership and create plans from scratch, and drive execution while obtaining cross-functional buy-in to achieve DoorDash Drive's strategic goals.
You will report into a Manager in our Drive Restaurants team in our Platform Products organization.

Go-to-market strategy – Build a strong understanding of product market fit, value proposition, pricing, and the competitive landscape, and help the team develop a go-to-market strategy based on these inputs.
Business development – Develop and foster deep relationships with top priority merchant partners to iterate and grow the business. Key Merchant point of contact within the Drive Rx team
Improve the product – Guide operational improvements for our merchant partners by understanding their needs and working with internal partners to design solutions throughout the product experience.
Influence – Work cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Support, Sales and Account Management teams to drive growth and scale.
Experiment – Evaluate and test various volume, revenue, cost and quality drivers.
We’re Excited About You Because…
You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
You have 4 - 6+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development/sales, or operations; high-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus
You display extreme ownership across every workstream while ruthlessly prioritizing what will actually move the needle
You have extremely strong analytical skills with an intellectual curiosity to challenge and dissect data
You have a bias towards action and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
You’re willing to get your hands dirty and you’re open to feedback
You’re excellent at motivating potential partners to see the benefits DoorDash Drive will bring to their business
You oscillate easily from strategic considerations to tactical execution
You have an entrepreneurial spirit to find creative solutions to overcome seemingly impossible challenges
Have excellent Excel skills (can perform complex functions); SQL knowledge preferred

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
$91,800 — $135,000 USD
