Key Responsibilities:

  • Flight Operations team includes aircraft pilots and pilot support. This position exists to support administrative activities, policies and procedures, and supervision of administrative personnel. The position will also extend to the training and support of United’s industry leading Aviate (pilot career development) program.

  • Support administrative activities including FAA paperwork, department budget planning and forecast and tracking student/instructor training and flying requirements

  • Administers policies and business procedures consistent with company and government regulations and union agreements

  • Schedule, plan and organize fleet meetings, minutes, and action items

  • Assists Fleet Management in conducting investigations, tracking, and responding to grievances and administering employee discipline

  • Responsible for Fleet Budget Oversight including monthly reporting, auditing, investigating budget discrepancies and ensuring standardization

  • Develops and coordinates fleet communication

  • Sick leave and dependability tracking

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience

  • Two years administrative/supervisory experience in an office or domicile environment

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business

  • Two years’ experience in Flight Operations training center, domicile, or headquarters environment

  • Pilot Records

  • DMS

  • IACRA

  • CCS/COSMOS

  • Knowledge of contractual work rules

The salary for this position is $55,200 to $80,960, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
