Surgical Area Business Director - Remote

The Area Business Director (ABD) will manage all sales activities within a large US region for the Gynecological Surgical Division. This role involves driving sales personally and through a team of Regional Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Drive sales growth by managing and supporting a team of Regional Managers, each overseeing a sales team of 10-12 representatives.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the VP of Sales to establish sales territories, quotas, and goals.

  • Client and Distributor Relations: Advise distributors and clients on sales strategies and product information.

  • Corporate Liaison: Act as a bridge between the sales department and other corporate units, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate performance to develop top talent within the region.

  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Assign sales territories, manage sales forecasts, and control expenditures to meet budgetary requirements.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements.

  • Industry Representation: Represent Hologic at trade association meetings and with high-profile thought leaders in gynecology or pathology.

  • Ability to travel as required within the region.
