About the team

The Systems Manager will oversee the management, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools within the organization. This role is responsible for leading a team of IT professionals to ensure efficient and effective use of M365 tools, enhancing communication, collaboration, and productivity across the company.

What you'll own

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals focused on M365 collaboration tools, including Power Platform, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other related applications. Develop and implement strategies for the effective use of M365 collaboration tools to meet organizational goals. Oversee projects related to the deployment, configuration, and optimization of collaboration tools, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Ensure the team provides high-quality support and training for end-users to maximize the benefits of the M365 suite. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance within organizational standards and security policies. Collaborate with various departments to understand their collaboration needs and identify solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency. Monitor the performance and usage of M365 collaboration tools, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes. Manage the budget for the M365 collaboration tools team, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource allocation. Coordinate with Microsoft and other vendors for support, licensing, and implementation of new features or tools. Lead technology projects, apply best practices, and evaluate new technologies to meet future needs. Consult with executive leadership to analyze IT needs, determine project scope, objectives, priorities, and budget requirements. Make development recommendations based on client expectations and operational constraints, including performance implications. Develop financial estimates for operating and capital expenses, including financial forecasting, purchasing, and staffing costs. Assign and monitor the teams project work, providing technical and analytical support and direction. Develop, implement, and monitor IT standards, practices, procedures, and controls to maximize efficiency, support platform compatibility, and ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. Ensure uninterrupted IT service delivery to user groups. Stay up to date on evolving technologies and products for future needs. Provide day-to-day expertise, coaching, and leadership to management and staff in areas including information systems design, development, systems planning, programming, operations, architecture, data p ocessing, data security, networks, and systems support. Define and negotiate service level agreements for technology operations. Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring

In-depth knowledge of principles and practices for planning, managing, and implementing software projects. Expertise in Microsoft cloud platform and IT service delivery technologies. Broad knowledge of enterprise-level IT hardware and software architecture. Understanding of IT functions, including design, development, systems planning, programming, operations, architecture, data processing, security, networks, and analysis. Strategic thinker with strong business judgment and project management skills for large or complex projects.
