Location/Region: This position is located in Florida and Georgia area and will cover this territory.

What's the role? As a Territory Sales Rep, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role at Carl Zeiss Vision. Show case your skills and experience with process enhancement where you will be Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Business Development. As a Territory Sales Representative you are responsible for the generation of new sales, of the Vision Device Portfolio including Exam Lane, Pre-test and Digital Measurement Devices directly to Eye Care Professionals. You must identify and develop new business opportunities, prospects and qualified potential customers through appointment setting and cold calls. The Territory Sales Representative commits to a monthly and annual sales plan, accurately processes quotes, completes installs/trainings and all necessary report pre and post sales. The Territory Sales Representative must develop excellent product knowledge and an awareness of market conditions. This individual must report on his/her activities on a regular basis and must represent the company in keeping with the highest standards of business ethics and professionalism.

Sound Interesting? Here's what you'll do: Meets or exceed sales goals as established for sales plan in assigned territory, primarily through external sales to Vision customers. Completes all required pre and post sales tasks accurately and on-time, including CRM entries, Site Surveys, Quotes, Installation and Training documentation plus ZEISS Contracts. Prospects and qualifies potential customers through appointment setting and cold calls. Consistently use Company's CRM tool for tracking customer contacts, visit reports and follow-up activities. Work with sales team to develop current and new targeted customers, by aggressively following up on leads. Provide technical product information and procedure expertise to customers. Communicate with customers in a clear, timely and effective manner. Build internal and external relationships; establish credibility and rapport with customers. Follow all pricing and promotion rules established by Senior Director. Utilizes available marketing tools, including sell-in videos, training videos and sell sheets electronically. Organize and schedule tasks, develop realistic goals and action plans to drive sales. Attend various events, e.g., Trade shows, etc. to generate new business opportunities as directed. Professionally and accurately completes device install and trainings for sales when Field Installer is not available. Deals with unexpected situations or events, frequent changes, or delays. Performs training and troubleshooting at client sites. Proactively troubleshoots hardware and/or software problems. Provides in person, telephone, or web-based product demonstrations as requested by clients and/or sales force.

Do you qualify? Must live in territory. Minimum 2-years' experience in optical or capital equipment sales. Strong sales focus with the ability to move key opportunities through the sales cycle, providing detailed and accurate sales forecasts using the company's CRM tool. Effective consultative, con eptual and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to establish influential relationship with customers. General understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the eye. Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the company's CRM tool. Financial skills in budgeting, forecasting, and analytics. Ability to thrive in a competitive environment. Must be able to travel at least 80% of the time and occasionally work weekends. Ability to work independently and perform with little or no supervision. Demonstrated experience in creating plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Disciplined and results-oriented approach to selling and strong time management skills. Demonstrated ability to operate as a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.

Nice to Haves: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. ABO certification preferred. High level of ophthalmic equipment product knowledge preferred. Basic computer/instrumentation networking preferred. Working knowledge of refractometry preferred
