Your opportunity

  • Monitor services standards provided to and by Third Party Administrators in relation to:

  • Transfer Agency Services

  • Middle Office and Custody Services

  • Fund Administration - NAV production, Financial Reporting and Fund Tax Services

  • Performance Measurement and Client Reporting

  • Information Technology

  • Maintain the TPA Due Diligence framework, including but not limited to

  • Maintain a suitable TPA Meeting Matrix, representing JHI where appropriate.

  • Review of TPA KPIs and the SLAs along with the business as appropriate

  • Facilitate a risk assessment and due-diligence site visit program

  • Manage the escalation of service issues with TPAs

  • The management of key internal stakeholders and externals relationship management with TPAs

  • Produce and present monthly governance reporting to senior management.

  • Co-ordinate and stakeholder manage the TPA Change process and pipeline (small change and key project initiatives with TPAs), as well as producing key MI.

  • Review of TPA invoices and KPI service credits / debits ensuring they reflect the agreed tariff and business.

  • Support allocated projects, enhancements and TPA Change Controls ensuring service level descriptions are in place.

  • Assist in the maintenance of internal and TPA risk and controls monitoring.

  • Produce monthly MI reporting on TPA performance.

  • Lead meetings with operational team heads to review root cause, corrective and preventative measures relating to incidents.

    Must have skills

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

  • Understanding an outsourced model is a key requirement (from either a previous oversight role, or working from working at a TPA)

  • Demonstrate leadership by owning the Governance and Oversight relationship for TPAs where the individual acts as key contact for escalation internally and particularly externally.

  • Strong interpersonal/relationship skills e.g., communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to listen and liaise with fund managers, other team members and externally with outsourced service delivery managers.

  • Strong internal stakeholder relationship management across all JHI global teams

  • Numerate, with analytical skills and attention to detail and thoroughness

  • Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills

  • Building relationship with key stakeholders internally and externally

  • Committed team player.

    Nice to have skills

  • Strong background and experience in Investment Operations and Fund Administration is key.

  • Understanding of outsourcing within technology would be beneficial.

  • Key stakeholder management is key and external Relationship Management would be advantageous.

  • Strong background in controls and problem solving.

    You will be expected to understand the regulatory obligations of the firm and abide by the regulated entity requirements and JHI policies applicable for your role.

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $70,000-80,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through August 31, 2024.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
