Aerotek MIG Welder in Denver, Pennsylvania

Job Title: MIG Welder/Fabricator

Job Description

This company builds and installs dust collection and ventilation systems. You will perform MIG welding on custom parts, primarily using thin gauge material in the manufacturing process of ventilation and dust collection systems for heavy manufacturing companies. The job involves welding stainless steel, light gauge materials, and carbon steel. You should have experience with thin gauge material as most of the products are duct and related materials. Experience in reading prints, performing layout, tacking, and welding seams is necessary. You may also assist Fabricators using shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, saws, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment. The job requires strong tape measure abilities and some blueprint experience. The position has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Job Type

This is a fully on-site position in Denver, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Very driven company with a small company mentality where everyone pitches in to get the job done. The work environment includes a metal shop with welding and fabricating noise and smell. This is a job shop type environment where they make a lot of 'one off' type products. The company has a very nice, new shop and a good working atmosphere.
