As a HCD Technician with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will perform a variety of assembly tasks that require the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment under general supervision.

Additional Duties:

  • Understands their role in implementing the ISO 9001 / AS9100 standard and complies with all aspects of the standard.

  • Follows established procedures with respect to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements, including wearing of all proper PPE when working with production chemicals.

  • Refers to drawings, routers, and established specifications to perform simple sub-assemblies on various product lines. Performs final inspection of products.

  • Learns and uses microscope, basic tools, fine hand tools and inspection processes.

  • During production, may perform such tasks as cleaning, descaling and passivation processes, connector spot welding and product testing.

  • Responsible for operating and maintaining equipment such as spot welder, descaling / passivation equipment, vapor degreaser, leak tester and electrical meters.

  • Shows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.

  • Provides information to supervisor and co-workers to positively affect quality and output.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:

High School graduate or equivalent

Experience:

Minimum of 1 to 3 years or equivalent experience.

This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M).
