Cash Application Analyst

Job Description

Daily processing of all cash receipts received from customers by check, ACH, wire and credit card. Validate proposed auto-application using Wells Fargo Integrated Receivables technology. Research and fix incorrect auto-cash proposals. Manually post check, ACH and wire payments that do not auto-apply. Actively participate in future A/R process improvements to improve cash application automation. Regularly follow up on unidentified cash receipts to correctly post these or to refund to the payer. Report on daily cash receipts by entity and type. Create documentation of Standard Operating Procedures for cash application tasks. Provide information to support audits and other requests. Perform ad hoc analysis.

  • Strong Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs)
