Description

Robert Half has partnered with an esteemed organization to find an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their Des Moines team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be primarily responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generating weekly aging reports in a timely manner. This role requires adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a dedication to efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Tracking all invoices and payments to ensure timely collections.

• Processing and reviewing account adjustments, resolving client discrepancies and short payments.

• Resolving invoice discrepancies and issues by coordinating with the concerned departments.

• Conducting account research and analysis when required.

• Generating age analysis reports and liaising with the Accounts Receivable Manager to review current accounts.

• Maintaining and updating customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.

• Performing other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields is preferred but not required.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience doing Accounts Receivable.

• Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
