Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Attorney/Lawyer, specializing in Commercial Contracts to join our team and provide legal support remotely. This position offers a contract employment opportunity in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support on commercial contract-related matters.

• Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts and related legal documents (NDAs, SaaS, software license, services agreements, and goods purchase agreements).

• Conduct legal research on corporate law and regulations.

• Liaise with clients and other legal professionals to discuss commercial contract-related concerns.

• Monitor and manage commercial contracts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for contract negotiation.

• Ensure the confidentiality of all sensitive information.

• Able to perform high quality work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Must be an active member in good standing with the Bar in any US state

• 4+ years of experience working in a law firm or in-house setting.

• Proven experience as an Attorney or Lawyer, preferably specializing in commercial contracts.

• Excellent skills in legal research and drafting legal documents

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to mediate disputes

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines relevant to the legal profession

• Ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity

• Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications.
