Job Summary:

The Facilities & Property Management Officer (FPMO) oversees and facilitates projects for the facilities and properties of the bank as directed by the Manager, Facilities & Property Manager. This includes handling supply management, facilities management, and facilities vendors for the bank, while providing the bank’s internal and external customers with good and timely facilities management service. In addition, the FPMO manages the bank's Mail Center, including relationships with mailroom vendors & the day-to-day supervision of the mailroom employees.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

Mail Services Management:

· Oversees the daily operation of the Mail Center and the mailroom employees

· Monitors, evaluates, and directs the mailroom employees

· Communicates on a regular basis to share information on any and all projects

Supply Management:

· Oversees the bank’s supplies and coordinates with the other Mail Services employees to ensure the timely delivery of all supplies

· Manages the relationship with the company’s supply vendors, including, but not limited to, office supplies and coffee supplies, records management, and storage

Facilities & Property Management:

· Manages all Ruan Center facilities projects, as well as many branch facilities projects (as requested). This includes working with design vendors to design and obtain approval on remodeling and/or furniture designs, obtaining multiple bids from facilities/furniture vendors, obtaining approvals and decisions on the bids submitted, managing the projects from start to finish to ensure all work is done to our specifications and the bid submitted

· Ensures facilities are clean, functional, and safe, removing hazards when developed and portraying a professional image to the public and all employees

· Provides senior management with information on the condition of the bank’s facilities along with any updated information

· Provides senior management with an updated project list with projects being worked on, how long they will take to complete, and when they are completed

· Assists with facilities/maintenance staff and contractors/vendors in the repair and maintenance activities needed at all bank locations, including communication, status monitoring and confirmation of resolution for all issues as directed by the Manager, Facilities & Property Management

· Promotes, builds, manages, and evaluates vendor relationships with all Bankers Trust facility vendors, including but not limited to, vendors for records storage, moving, maintenance, architects, builders, mechanical, office furniture, and office supplies

Other:

· Participates as an active member of the bank’s Disaster Recovery Committee by attending all meetings and participating in the committee’s annual training exercise

· Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

· Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

· At least six years of facilities & maintenance experience required

· At least six years of managing electrical systems, mechanical systems or control systems preferred

· At least four years of supervisory experience preferred

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

· Knowledge and understanding of Post Office rules and regulations

· Knowledge of Postal mailing equipment

· Ability to hire, monitor, evaluate, direct, encourage and discipline employees

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $73,000 - $90,000
