Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

Unload and move materials using forklifts and other equipment. Organize stock on pallets or crates for storage or shipment. Report any damages, shortages, or quality issues. Move raw materials to production areas. Help with order picking, packaging, restocking, and other warehouse tasks. Operate equipment safely according to company guidelines. Inspect and maintain machinery for safety and repairs. Load shipments manually or with equipment like pallet jacks. Weigh and shrink-wrap outgoing pallets. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock and inventory. Provide general warehouse support, including organizing and maintaining clean work areas.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.

Work Environment

Smaller team settings as they work in "pods" so will be able to build relationships quickly. Steel toe or composite toe boots. Must wear either safety yellow shirts or high visibility blue vests. 7:00am - 3:30pm.
