Material Handler

Job Description:

• Performs manual and small machine operator tasks related to the mailing operations in the Lettershop department

• Will help assist machine operators and will learn different machines. They are a printing company, so print presses

• Will take printed material off conveyor and pack into boxes to get sent out to shipping

• Reads and understand the job ticket, layout sheet, artwork and other specifications before the assigned job with the Machine Operator. Asks any questions or reports any problems regarding the assigned job and maintains at least one piece of equipment which makes up part of the various mailing and finishing operations in a full-service mailing department

• Cleans up and keeps work area neat and orderly

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

• Manufacturing/production - 1+ years

• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs

• Ability to Read, Speak, and Write English

Work Environment/Shift:

• 7am-3pm Monday-Friday (If they are on OT they will know days in advance but will either work it on the back end of their shift or on the weekends. Need to be open to this)

• Dress Code: Jeans and work appropriate shirt. Steel toed boots required.

• Environment: Very clean print shop, not dirty and machines are upkept
