Job Summary:

The Relationship Banker II (RB II) is responsible for providing personalized customer service to clients. The RB II engages customers in conversation to understand their banking needs and preferences and assists in opening new accounts and maintaining existing deposit/loan relationships. This position facilitates customer awareness and education of bank's services, including digital banking capabilities. The RB II conducts teller transactions in an accurate and timely manner while maintaining essential controls and safeguards. This position also refers clients to business partners within the Bank. The RB II must be able to work every other Saturday morning and be flexible regarding hours.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

· Provides personalized customer service, building relationships with clients and providing solutions to their financial needs while following the Customer Service Excellence Agreement and Sales Ethics Roadmap

· Opens new accounts (including IRA's and HSA's), processes deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier's checks, foreign currency request and other transactions accurately and timely

· Processes loan applications accurately and timely

· Identifies customer needs and provides information on products and services that meet those needs

· Cross-sells bank products and services that meet customers' needs

· Monitors customer activity for suspicious and fraudulent activity

· Refers customers to Bank business partners who are able to provide solutions for their financial needs

· Maintains essential controls and safeguards while opening and closing the branch

· Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· 4 - 6 years experience

· At least three years of retail banking experience in a customer contact position with an emphasis of sales of products and services is required

· At least three years of underwriting/loan decision experience is required

· Proven sales record/business development experience required

· Notary Public certification within 30 days is required

· Signature Medallion within 90 days is required

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

· Demonstrated sales skills/proven cross divisional referrals resulting in closures that generate revenue.

· An advanced knowledge of bank products, which include, deposit accounts, loans, retirement accounts, and treasury products

· Ability to make presentations

· General knowledge of wealth management

· General fiduciary knowledge

· General understanding of IRA Regulations/Rules/RMD's

· Strong underwriting and lending skills with the ability to make sound underwriting decisions (underwrite loan without computer aide)

· Ability to analyze consumer financial statements using form 91

· Ability to recognize loan opportunities and recommend products

· Ability to work in a high paced environment

· Adaptable to change

· Critical thinking skills

· Flexible regarding working hours

· Ability to prioritize business opportunities as needed

· Ability to work independently and use electronic resources

· Data processing and digital banking knowledge

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $23.00 - $27.00 (Annualized at 40 hours per week: $47,840 - $56,160)
