Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr Software Engineer to join a large financial client in Des Moines, IA. This individual needs to have prior experience leading design or mentorship on a team. They will help drive product transformation as the business is growing and modernizing their tech stack in AWS. They will be joining a team of 10 and partnering with various business leaders and architects on the projects. They will need to have adequate experience in Full Stack development as well as AWS experience and leadership capabilities to excel in this role. This candidate will be paid between the ranges of $60-68/hr depending on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

Expert experience in Java development

Expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Snowflake

Proficient in TypeScript

Experience designing and implementing event driven applications and REST APIs using Spring 7+ years of experience as a java developer required.

Experience with front-end (React and Next.js)

Jenkins, GitHub, CDK, and AWS CloudFormation for build and release management null
