Job Description

The IT Solution Architect - Supply Chain is responsible for building strong collaborative relationships across all Supply chain business lines. The Senior IT Architect will work closely with business partners to develop and manage Business Capability Models to identify overlaps, gaps and develop roadmaps to ensure the efficiency and consistency of the customer experience and business solutions. The Senior Architect will be responsible for providing knowledge and expertise to Business Units and other Senior Architecture Directors, Solution Groups Leads, technical leaders in identifying opportunities for technology solutions the supports Intel's Strategy and operational goals.

We are seeking an architect with a strong track record of building end to end architectures to drive the technical foundation for Intel's dynamic business environment. This requires the ability to partner and collaborate across business groups while leading innovation and positive change. Individuals in this position have a broad understanding of supply chain business processes, ERP solutions, Planning and Procurement subject matter expertise and experience working with multiple technologies and have demonstrated the ability to work with users at all levels in the Supply chain businesses. Devises strategies and programs for improving overall supply chain Architecture across the enterprise.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Contributes to establishing practices, standards and governance for effective Architecture across the organization.

  • Defines enterprise-wide practices for capabilities definition and complete solution requirements elaboration and incorporates concerns such as operational quality, governance and controls, maintainability, solution quality and adoption.

  • Documents detail business flows and implement EA standards and document the flows in IT standard enterprise tool Takes an active role in enterprise value stream portfolio investment decisions by assessing and rationalizing proposed enterprise capabilities.

  • Develops and maintains overall solution capability roadmaps based on a situational awareness of overall business strategy, operational goals, and critical business challenges and opportunities.

  • Ensures projects and proposals are well formed and align with corporate strategic goals; functions as an expert resource to the business to answer or facilitate responses to business related technology questions.

  • Re-engineers key processes and systems in partnership with business users and capabilities and maps to future-state vision.

  • Leads and mentors other cross functional team members in the development of architecture and analyst deliverables, understanding industry best practices/standards.

  • Interacts with multiple technologists in the company to influence architectures and optimize, customize software offerings.

  • Determines coding, development tools, validation, and standards compliance requirements. Collaborates with management, product owners, and project managers to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development. Performs pathfinding, surveys technologies, participates in standards committees, and presents at external and internal events. Interacts with multiple technologists in the company to influence architectures and optimize/customize software offerings.

  • Business thinking and highly strategic to define practical solutions that align with corporate strategy.

  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities.

  • Strong process analysis and modeling skills along with ability to lead complex enterprise teams through business process integrations, converting business strategy into action-oriented objectives and measurable results.

  • Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communication as well as visualizations and deliver Sr management presentations.

  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others and move toward consensus.

  • Technical and Data Architecture understanding, TCO Management.

  • The IT Architect defines software application architecture across client, cloud, or enterprise.

  • Makes high level design choices focused on manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 9+ years experience in:

  • Tech Lead, or Solution architect.

  • 5+ years of Supply Chain Planning, Order to Cash, Sourcing, Fulfillment and Transportation, delivery systems and factory integration experience.

  • 5 + years of Blue Yonder ESP, Blue Yonder IBP, Blue Yonder OP, SAP IBPSAP ECC, S4/Hana.

Procure to Pay- Ideal candidate would have:

  • Forecast To StockS4/HANA EWM.SAP Ariba CLM (Contract lifecycle management).

  • Spend management.

  • Sourcing and procurement.

  • Transportation and delivery systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical and Data Architecture understanding, TCO Management.

  • Architecting and configuring interactive UIs, workbenches, exceptions, and reports based on specific business requirements.

  • Supply Chain Master Data.

  • Azure Data hubSAP IBP, Blue Yonder (BY, JDA, i2) or other planning tools.

  • Architecting and implementing sourcing and procurement planning solutions leveraging SAP ECC, S4, Ariba, collaboration tools like E2Open, Opentext, scenario KPI comparison, creating and managing business measures, and other business requirements.

  • Agile experience.

  • Supply Chain Master Data, PLM, MRP.

  • Planning Inventory for Internal Subcontract Manufacturing, scenario KPI comparison, creating and managing business measures, and other business requirements.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $162,041.00-$259,425.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
