As a VP, Strategic Sales, you’ll lead a national team of account managers toward achieving new client revenue goals for strategic accounts. Our Customer Sales Team has a key role in helping customers unlock their full potential in their efforts to attract, engage, hire, and advance top talent.

This position will be leading across North America and will be remote. The Strategic Accounts team covers iCIMS’ largest customers including multi-national, Fortune brands that see talent as a strategy and partner with iCIMS across our portfolio of solutions!

Responsibilities

• Lead and be responsible for a successful, customer-focused team to deliver customer business value and long-lasting relationships while providing vision, planning & prioritization for team resources.

• Mentoring direct reports in sales strategy, forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity management.

• Collaborate jointly to develop territory strategies with marketing, channel partners, client services, and other teams to grow revenue in your region.

• Structure appropriate training and career planning/training/development while eliminating roadblocks to team performance.

• Handles complex sales cycles with both new and existing customers while establishing and maintaining relationships with executive level contacts.

• Crafts a strategy for realizing the team’s sales objectives, driving improvement across key sales metrics of their team including: close rates, average deal size and time to close through ongoing training, and mentoring to the validated iCIMS Sales Methodology.

• Ensure team is driving growth and retention processes, providing accurate forecasts, and consistently exceeding team quota and metrics.

• Establishes and maintains a merit-based, multifaceted work environment that appeals to the top talent in the field and enables operational objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years proven experience in the Technology, Software, or Software-as-a-Service industry with primary customer base in Fortune 1000.

• Leadership experience leading top-tier sales teams with at least two years of experience leading a team of sales professionals selling into Enterprise accounts selling into the C suite.

• Passionate about empowering, mentoring and developing enterprise sales professionals.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a high degree of approachability and the ability to work seamlessly in a team-oriented environment. Excellent sales forecasting and reporting analytics.

• Effective negotiator, problem solver and creative thinker.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment that is going through high growth.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must articulate thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.

• Travel: 40% Preferred

• Experience in the HR / HCM space preferred.

• BS/BA degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• SDFC/Salesforce.com experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The target total compensation for this role is $300k-400k. Compensation will be based upon experience.
